Mangrove Propagules
Propagules are live seedlings that develop while still attached to the parent mangrove tree. This is a special adaptation seen in many mangrove species.

Instead of seeds falling and germinating later (like most plants), mangrove propagules begin to germinate on the tree itself.

This process is called vivipary.
